Mark Renick is in from IMSI Hope Community Phase II even though it’s Thursday. He’s talking about his involvement with Systemic Change of Idaho. One of the issues discussed is the use of a box on the front of job applications asking whether or not you are a convicted felon. If you have been affected by incarceration, Mark has great resources that you will find helpful.
Today is Mark’s Brithday and Mark brings in a guest, Monica Forbes. Monica is the Executive Director of the P.E.E.R. Wellness Center. Monica is a person in long-term recovery and a Recovery Coach who brings over 15 years of experience in training, business management, customer service, and social work to PEER Wellness Center. She holds two degrees, in Medical Assisting and Social Work, and she is on the Honor Roll as she works towards a BS in Psychology with a focus on Addictions. She is married to her best friend, has four daughters and three grandchildren. Listen in to learn about the P.E.E.R. Wellness Canter and the programs
