This year, on the 70th Anniversary of the National Day of Prayer, the theme is “Lord Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty.” This is from the theme verse, 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is Spirit; where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”  There are many ways that our community can plan to mobilize in unified public prayer for America; all done in obedience and to the glory of Jesus. Free Fishing Day is June 12

Free Fishing Day is June 12. Anyone in Idaho can enjoy a day of fishing without a fishing license, but all other rules still apply.  It usually includes Fish and Game employees and volunteers bringing fishing gear to various fishing spots and loaning rods, reels and tackle and helping people learn to fish. While Fish and Game staff will not be hosting any events this year, it's still a great opportunity for novice anglers to experience some of the wonderful fishing opportunities Idaho has to offer. This family friendly two mile walk supports Lifeline’s efforts in developing a maternity home that will provide a nurturing environment, personal development opportunities and connections to resources in the community to women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. All funds raised will be applied directly to the annual budget required to operate the home. The 2021 God and Country Festival

The God and Country Festival is back for 2021! Free Admission! Join us June 30th at the Idaho Center for a night of family-friendly fun, including the Treasure Valley's largest fireworks show, great Christian bands, military appreciation, civic awards, food and fellowship. More info to be announced shortly, including exact time of event. Non-Denominational Parking: The Idaho Center charges $5 per car so they can provide better traffic direction during events and make needed improvements to the parking lot. If you have the DMV pass, you can get in for free. Feel free to carpool!
