What I Should Know About the Reformation – Matthew 23:13-33 – Bruce Young

00:00 / 29:00

Five Hundred years ago, on October 31, 1517, a Catholic Priest names Martin Luther nailed a paper with 95 objections (95 Theses) on the door of the Wittenberg church. These objections were primarily about the leadership and corrupted actions of the church officials.

More than any other event of that era, these actions sparked what is simply called, the Reformation. Starting this Sunday, we will look at what happened 500 years ago and compare it to Jesus and what happened 2,000 years ago. What we will discover is how much we need a new Reformation – in the church, in the gospel message, and in our own hearts.

Grace and Truth is a ministry of First Baptist Church in Boise that airs each Sunday morning at 8:30 AM MST. Each broadcast is the teaching of Pastor Bruce Young and other First Baptist Pastors. Their hope is that you are able to connect with God and able to move toward extraordinary living through what you hear and experience.
