James is an accomplished business leader and longtime Prison Fellowship volunteer and supporter, who was mentored by Prison Fellowship’s founder, the late Charles Colson. Today Mark is sitting in with Mark Hubble and Darrell Taylor. Mark is the Prison Fellowship’s Area Director for the U.S. Northwest and has been involved in reentry ministry since 2002. Darrel was a long time chaplain for the Idaho Department of Corrections and is heavily involved in prison ministry. He retired from Ten Mile Christian Church as a pastor and is also Mark’s Friday morning breakfast partner.
Today Mark is talking to David Moore who began volunteering for a prison mentoring program rather reluctantly but found great enjoyment and growth in being part of the program. What does prison ministry involve? Should you be nervous about getting involved in the prisons?
David talks about the impact that the ministry had on those he ministered to and his own spiritual life.
